Here's To Our Joint Future

In August I took charge of the Air Conditioning segment from Christian Nöll, who is now heading up ContiTech’s Mobile Fluid Systems business unit. Air-conditioning has played a major role in my career, whether as a plant manager in Mexico or in my last post where I was responsible for our air-conditioning business in North America. Coming from a sales background, I am primarily focused on customer requirements. However, I am also aware that production operations, which are at the heart of our success, also require every possible assistance.

I have taken on a segment which is in excellent shape worldwide and is very busy. We are the number 1 in air-conditioning lines – and also in air-conditioning hoses, thanks to new plants. We have a perfect product portfolio and a strong team which understands the regional requirements.

We have enjoyed strong growth and now have a greater global focus than ever before. Consequently, we are well equipped to meet challenges such as the automakers’ global platforms. We are learning here alongside our customers, and the same applies to our new developments. I look forward to working with you!
