Since 2005, the PrInt & Media Awards have recognized preeminent performances in the German print industry in 25 different categories and honored the companies behind them. It’s an unusual platform to also present Continental`s printing blanket expertise to a wide audience. Well-known presenter Esther Sedlaczek from SKY hosted the ceremony during a gala evening at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. Among all the award-winning categories there were many customers who use Continental offset printing blankets. “We’re really pleased that superlative print performances are achieved with our products,” says Volker Wendt, printing blanket area manager. “It just goes to show that the choice of printing blanket plays an important role.”
In addition to the silver award for
medialis Offsetdruck GmbH Berlin and the bronze award for Beisner Druck GmbH & Co. KG, Buchholz the judges voted Druckerei Vogel as the winner. “We’re delighted to be able to send our congratulations on the occasion of the award for Magazine Printer of the Year to this small but perfectly formed printer from Zorneding,” says Wendt. The finalists using Continental products also include
