Continental’s group sector ContiTech today announced that one of its key industrial fluid solutions products, the Insta‑Grip 300 industrial hose, has successfully achieved localized production in China. Leveraging the advanced manufacturing capabilities of ContiTech’s plant in Yanzhou, Shandong, the localized Insta‑Grip 300 now supports an annual production capacity of 600 kilometers, with lead times reduced dramatically—from several months under the previous import model to approximately 45 days. This milestone substantially enhances ContiTech’s local supply capabilities and service responsiveness to customers in China’s high‑end manufacturing sectors, while further strengthening the resilience of its supply chain across the Asia‑Pacific region.
Built for Safety and Stability in High‑Demand Manufacturing Environments
The Insta‑Grip 300 is one of ContiTech’s most widely used high‑performance industrial hoses, offering excellent flexibility, kink resistance, oil resistance and pressure durability. Owing to its robust performance across diverse operating conditions, the product is deployed globally in automotive manufacturing robotic systems, data center facility operations, semiconductor production, injection molding equipment, and machine tool systems. These applications place stringent requirements on hose safety, durability and operational stability.
The Insta‑Grip 300 features a no‑clamp push‑on fitting design, ideal for use in low‑pressure hydraulic and pneumatic systems. With a maximum working pressure of 300 psi, the hose maintains reliable pressure performance while delivering the necessary flexibility and kink resistance. Engineered for safety‑critical applications, the Insta‑Grip 300 is non‑conductive, featuring a minimum electrical resistance of 1 megohm per inch at 1,000 volts DC, providing an added layer of protection in complex and sensitive operating environments.
