Continental Marks 30 Years of Vintner™ Hose Performance with Expanded Portfolio

  • Crush-resistant Vintner™ hose line builds on three decades of sanitary, high-performance beverage transfer across wineries, breweries and processing facilities
  • Expanded Vintner™ family introduces new tube options to broaden application coverage while maintaining proven durability and hygiene standards

Fairlawn, Ohio, July 7, 2026. Continental’s group sector ContiTech is marking the 30th anniversary of its Vintner™ beverage hose line, celebrating a legacy of reliable sanitary transfer while expanding the portfolio to serve an even broader range of beverage applications.

For three decades, the Vintner™ hose has delivered consistent performance in wineries, breweries and beverage processing facilities, where product integrity and hygiene are critical. Since its introduction in 1996, the platform has become a trusted industry specification, continually evolving to meet the changing needs of beverage producers worldwide.

Building on this established foundation, ContiTech is further expanding the Vintner™ hose family to provide greater versatility and broader application coverage. Today, the portfolio offers two proven constructions designed to support the full spectrum of beverage transfer requirements:

“Only quality makes the cut in beverage production and in ContiTech hose,” said Ben Tracey, head of product management for industrial hose, Industrial Solutions Americas, ContiTech. “For 30 years, Vintner has been a trusted solution in beverage processing. With this portfolio expansion, we’re building on that legacy, giving customers more options to match their specific applications while maintaining the same high standards for hygiene, durability and performance.”

As part of this expansion, the Vintner™ family now offers a more comprehensive range of tube compounds, including chlorobutyl (CB), EPDM and nitrile (NBR) configurations across all constructions. These additions extend the product’s capabilities to support a wider range of applications, including oily and high-fat products, while complementing the long-established EPDM and CB offerings.

Across the portfolio, Vintner™ hoses are designed for safe, reliable transfer of a broad range of beverages, from wine and beer to juices, dairy and other liquid food products. Each construction is engineered for suction and discharge service and incorporates a monofilament helix that delivers crush resistance, flexibility and a rustproof alternative to traditional reinforcement methods.

The available tube materials are tailored to specific application needs, including chlorobutyl (CB) for carbonated, acidic and low-fat beverages, EPDM for high-temperature processes and clean-in-place (CIP) applications, and nitrile for oily and high-fat products such as milk, cream and oils.

All Vintner™ hoses are manufactured from materials that meet FDA and USDA requirements and conform to 3-A Sanitary Standard 18-03. The design supports product purity with tubes that resist discoloration and do not impart taste or odor, while non-marking covers help maintain clean processing environments.

By expanding the Vintner™ portfolio while maintaining its proven core design, ContiTech reinforces its long-standing commitment to delivering reliable, sanitary and application-specific solutions for the global beverage industry.
