That is why we honor our five best suppliers in the fields of anti-vibration technology and soundproofing every year. And how do you make it into our top five? A data sheet compares the figures of more than 160 partners in ten categories and then lets the hard facts speak for themselves – everything revolves around delivery performance and efficiency. In addition to product quality, reliability and competitiveness, a high level of innovation competence is particularly crucial. And who impressed us in 2019?

Development performance and product quality

For the third time in a row, raw materials and technology supplier DuPont is among the top suppliers. They supply our locations in Dannenberg and Hanover as well as the Changshu plant in China with thermoplastic elastomers and polyamides. For DuPont, approximately 30,000 employees work at more than 200 production sites in Europe, Asia and the Americas. The company is not only focusing on development performance, but also on quality.

Adherence to deadlines and delivery performance

Likewise, for the third time in a row, one of the winners of our award is the Turkish ball bearing specialist ORS. Our partner supplies products in Hanover and always satisfies us with its adherence to deadlines. Around 2,000 employees in Ankara produce a comprehensive ball bearing range for automotive and electrical equipment manufacturers as well as for industry in Germany, Italy and the U.S.A.

The manufacturer of aluminum diecasting parts Shanghai HEBA again presented outstanding delivery performance this year. After winning the award  in 2010, 2015, and 2017, they have once again picked up our “Supplier of the Year” award in 2019. Our partner from Asia supplies our locations in Hanover Mexico and China for years.

Responsiveness, flexibility and capacity for innovation

Croatian based Ivanal, which also produces aluminum diecasting parts is our fourth winner in 2019. Established in 1936, the company has approximately 400 employees. What in particular reason they won the award this year? With fast responsiveness and flexibility.

As a specialist in high-performance polymers, EMS-Chemie from Switzerland is an important partner in light-weight design and a global market leader in transparent polyamides. This competence and a trong innovative ability distinguish the company from other suppliers. EMS-Chemie is represented globally with approximately 2,700 employees at 25 sites in 16 countries.
