The maximum allowable temperature is influenced by the type of material and material shape. For example, is the system conveying fines or larger diameter materials that support air flow and cooling. In enclosed systems (e.g. elevator belt, pipe conveyor) the maximum allowable temperature is reduced. Conversely, higher material temperatures can be conveyed depending on material size, system design and high temperature solution selected.
